ahhh starcraft, the one game that lighted my love of rts games, i loved playing sc1 and sc2, even if im slow and do weird tactics, i love those games
even tho im pretty sure i still did not finish the brood war zerg campaign, i was on the last mission of the terran campaign in sc2 [because it is the only free one, those jerks at blizzard have locked the rest behind a pay wall] i enjoyed playing some custom campaigns
in sc1 i mostly played custom games online, i don't have lots of friends who play games like these so im pretty lonely, but playing with strangers seems to make that felling go away
my favorite race is the protoss, something about this highly advanced race was always in my mind, the reavers quickly destroying waves of zerglings and hydralisks, the carriers swarming the enenmy units with hordes of interceptors, or the scouts who somehow have masage cannons instead of laser cannons
also my favorite unit is the dark archon, being able to mindcontrol someones units and turn them against them or mindcontroling a enemy worker of a diffrent race and making units of that race to back your units up was always something that i enjoyed
